Note: CSC Category B closes earliest (mid-November of the preceding year), 3–4 months before CSP and the Shanghai scholarship. Interested applicants should email Prof. Jiang early to confirm admission and supervisor acceptance. Latest notices: SISU int'l-students office.

The PhD is self-funded and full-time, standard 4 years; tuition for Foreign Languages & Literature is ¥40,000 total for four years. CSC / Shanghai / CSP full scholarships do not apply.
The 2027 guide is not yet published. Contact Prof. Jiang and prepare materials around Nov–Dec 2026; online registration is expected in early January 2027.

Prof. Jiang's office is in Bldg. 5, Rm. 156, on the Songjiang campus of Shanghai International Studies University. From central Shanghai, take Metro Line 9 to Songjiang University Town station, then transfer to the campus shuttle (about 15 min).
